Alright, so one month, that's relatively soon, right?
So I work at a minor league baseball field and its every bit as glamorous as you would assume. My absolute favorite thing about working at a baseball field is my complete apathy towards the game of baseball. It is down right comical the amount of times where I've been helping somebody and then they switch the subject to the current baseball game in which I literally cannot name one player.
I spend most of my shifts working in the suites of the baseball field. The funny thing about suites is that everything is ridiculously overpriced because (I assume) the target clientele are companies that want to hold employee events or impress clients or super rich people who just feel like sitting in the stands is to lower-middle class for them. The interesting thing about these suites is that out of every 10 suites I have, maybe 2 will actually have people sitting in the box to watch the game. The rest just schmooze in the climate controlled suite.
I'm all for avoiding sporting events and all, but tell me why people pay all this money just to not watch a game. Like, can't you do that from a nice hotel conference room? At least there's a spa there.
To be clear, I'm definitely not complaining, I do need a job after all.
